Am Sonntag, den 13.10.2024, um 19:30 Uhr wird der Dokumentarfilm Exile Never Ends von Bahar Bektaş am 14. Kurdischen Filmfestival Berlin gezeigt.
Die Dokumentation erzählt die Geschichte von Taner, dem Bruder der Regisseurin, der in Deutschland im Gefängnis sitzt und vor der Abschiebung in die Türkei steht. Während sie auf das Unvermeidliche wartet, richtet Bahar Bektaş die Kamera auf ihre alevitisch-kurdische Familie und begibt sich auf eine eindrucksvolle Reise in die Vergangenheit.
