On October 1, 2025, the documentary “Bêmal – Heimatlos” by Düzen Tekkal and David Körzdörfer was screened as the closing film of the 15th Kurdish Film Festival Berlin.
Following the screening, a Q&A with director David Körzdörfer, protagonist Tahsin Mirza, and the film’s photographer Amelie Riedesel took place, giving the audience the opportunity to learn more about the making of the film and the stories of those involved.
At the same time, the festival’s online program launches: a curated selection of festival films can be streamed for one month for 30 euros, allowing film enthusiasts to experience the highlights conveniently from home.
Am 1. Oktober 2025 wurde der Dokumentarfilm „Bêmal – Heimatlos“ von Düzen Tekkal und David Körzdörfer als Abschlussfilm des 15. Kurdischen Filmfestivals Berlin gezeigt.
Im Anschluss fand ein Q&A mit Regisseur David Körzdörfer, dem Protagonisten Tahsin Mirza und der Fotografin des Films Amelie Riedesel statt, das dem Publikum die Möglichkeit gab, mehr über die Entstehung des Films und die Geschichten der Beteiligten zu erfahren.
Zeitgleich startet das Online-Programm des Festivals: Eine Auswahl der Festivalfilme kann für einen Monat für 30 Euro abonniert werden, sodass Filmbegeisterte die Highlights bequem von zu Hause aus erleben können.
