On , KFFB received the final submissions for the 2025 Short Film Competition. The team was pleased to receive nearly 100 submissions. With so many high-quality and artistically valuable films, the selection was challenging, but the films have now been chosen: A total of 13 films made it into our program — five from Turkey, two from Iran, one from KRG-Iraq, two from Germany, two from Switzerland, and one Danish-Norwegian film.
We are excited to announce the candidates for the 2025 Short Film Competition:

In this competition, three films will be awarded, with prizes presented by Yekmal e.V., Sprachenatelier, and mîtosfilm.

Am hat das KFFB die letzten Einreichungen zum Kurzfilmwettbewerb 2025 entgegengenommen. Das Team konnte sich über fast 100 Einreichungen freuen. Bei so vielen anspruchsvollen und künstlerisch wertvollen Filmen war die Auswahl schwierig, doch nun stehen sie fest: Insgesamt haben es 13 Filme in unser Programm geschafft – fünf aus der Türkei, zwei aus dem Iran, einer aus dem KRG-Irak, zwei aus Deutschland, zwei aus der Schweiz und ein dänisch-norwegischer Film.
