Latif Al Ani photographed Iraq for 30 years before multiple wars arose. At the age of 86, he travels through his devastated country in search of the people and places he photographed at the time, sharing his pictures with Iraqis who today cannot imagine that the world in the photographs was real.

Latif Al Ani hat 30 Jahre lang den Irak fotografiert, bevor es zu mehreren Kriegen kam. Im Alter von 86 Jahren reist er durch sein zerstörtes Land auf der Suche nach den Menschen und Orten, die er damals fotografiert hat, und teilt seine Bilder mit Iraker:innen , die sich heute nicht vorstellen können, dass die Welt auf den Fotos real war.
